Magno Alexandre stages the characteristic sound of his native Belo Horizonte with perfection.
He shines with his warm, expressive and loosely flowing playing. His style is characterized by the independent sound universe of Belo Horizonte. His compositions offer space for multifaceted moods and timbres. The perfectly timed, versatile rhythms of the experienced drummer André "Limão" Queiroz, also from Belo Horizonte, together with the sensitive, pulsating bass playing of Stephan Kurmann - who is as much at home in Brazil as he is in Basel - form a solid basis for the trio's expressive sound, which proves to be a real gem
