Happy Radio Public listening

Working with klipp+klang radio school and the education club of insieme Basel, Museum Tinguely is bringing the Happy Radio project to Basel for a course for the first time. Over the twelve evenings of the course, people with disabilities create a radio play as part of the «Radiophonic Spaces» exhibition. The play will be streamed on RadioTinguely, on the 24 January, at 6:30 pm. At 6 pm a public listening will take place at Museum Tinguely, where the radio play can be listened together with the participants of the course.
«Happy Radio» is an education and leisure offering from the radio school klipp+klang for people with impairments that strengthens participants on many levels. The radio work builds skills and integrates. In a unique way, this empowerment project gives the participants a voice. The name of the project – Happy Radio – was chosen by the course’s first group in Zurich: «Radio makes us happy. So this name fits», said one participant.
