Since 2 March, we are open again and the special exhibitions «Impasse Ronsin», «Leu Art Family», «Katja Aufleger» and the new collection presentation invite you to (re)discover the museum. They form the prelude to our anniversary programme «25 YEARS OF MOVING ART», which promises an eclectic menu until December 2021 - circumstances permitting.
Museum Tinguely will be weighing anchor this Summer and embarking on a very special journey: Museum Tinguely AHOY! This adventure, which is our way of bringing art to Europe’s waterways, is one that Tinguely himself might have undertaken as well.
We would like to present our jubilee programme in more detail
and invite you on this occasion to join our press event
at Museum Tinguely on Tuesday, 20 April at 10:30 am.
For twenty-five years, Museum Tinguely has upheld the validity of the equation ‹art = life› with a programme, addressed mainly at children and young people but open to all, which centres on the live experience of art that moves – in both senses of the word. Tinguely’s art is sensuous, playful, radical and subversive. Therefore, these qualities are of course particularly important to us regarding the jubilee programme and inspire us to look ahead confidently.
The media event will take place in the large exhibition hall. In order to comply with the current protection concept, you need to register in advance.
