A fascinating and interdisciplinary synergy of jazz, hip hop, South African and
electronic music.

Composer, keyboarder and bandleader Tyn Wybenga is an innovative driving force
in the Dutch contemporary jazz scene. With bold creativity, he uses a unique method
of composition that involves sampling and re-arranging fragments of recorded solo
improvisations by his band members to create new music, and have his band
improvise against the backdrop of this sound collage. An imaginative, fast-thinking
and subtly layered sound with great variety, one that captivates and yet breathes as
a harmonious, groovy whole.
