A drop-in workshop that gives grandparents and their grandchildren a special welcome.

Costs: museum admission, no booking required


Today, grandchildren and grandparents create letters for each other. They are inspired by Jean Tinguely's postal greetings in the exhibition «Merci Seppi. A wonderful gift».

Merci Seppi. A wonderful gift

Josef «Seppi» Imhof was Jean Tinguely’s assistant from 1971 until the artist’s death in 1991. During these years, when he was Tinguely’s closest and most constant companion, he collected a large number of works on paper, including drawings, prints, collages, letters, sketches, carefully executed watercolours and things that were dashed off quickly. Seppi Imhof has donated his collection of original works on paper to Museum Tinguely and now it will be on display for the first time.
